2. Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Workers by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, time of access, requested page, and browser and device information in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, fast website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. For transfers to the USA, Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use no cookies, no tracking and no analytics, and we load no external fonts or scripts.

3. Newsletter (Resend)

When you subscribe, we process your email address, your chosen edition (English or German) and the times of sign-up and confirmation. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Double opt-in: After you sign up, we send you an email with a confirmation link. You are only added to the list once you click it. We store the timestamps as proof of consent (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR). Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest.

We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as our processor to store contacts and send emails. Emails are sent from Resend's EU region (Ireland). Transfers to the USA are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses in the data processing agreement. We do not use open or click tracking.

Withdrawing consent: You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to hello@unilevelup.com. After that we send you no more newsletters; we only keep your address where necessary to make sure you are not contacted again.

4. Contact by email

If you write to hello@unilevelup.com, the email is forwarded to our mailbox via Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc.) and processed to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete it once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.

6. External links

Our pages link to third-party offers (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Perplexity, GitHub). Their privacy policies apply only once you click such a link.
